Learn to make goblets in this beginner goblet making 2-day workshop!

In this course, students will learn the basics of goblet making - the cup, avolio, stem, and foot; how to form them and keep them straight.

Students will be encouraged to blow thinner, as well as become familiarized with avolio bits, blown stems, and feet. Optic mold techniques will also be introduced as skills and time permits.

All materials are included.

About the Instructor

Jaan began making glass at ACAD in 2004 receiving a BFA, along with the ACAD Board of Governors Award for Glass in 2007. In 2009 he moved to Adelaide to participate in the Jam Factory Glass Associate Program. In 2015 he moved to Vancouver, BC, where he continues to work as a professional glassblower.
