This class is all about diving into the world of glass sculpture and building your skills in a fun, hands-on way. You’ll learn foundational techniques for creating sculptural elements and assembling multiple components into a finished piece.
We’ll get you comfortable working with the Garage and exploring how to build and attach forms, bringing your ideas to life step by step. Expect lots of time using shears and shaping tools as you refine and develop your work!
You’ll also explore colour application, bit work, using the ranger torch, team coordination, and time management in a hot shop environment.
By the end of the class, you’ll use these techniques to create your own unique sculptural piece—designed around your individual skill level and experience.
Bring your lunch and your enthusiasm!
