Instructors: Hope Forstenzer & Felicia Van Den Boogaard

In this course you will continue to build on your Next Steps learning, gain more confidence, and become a more comfortable glassblower. Through demonstrations and drills, you will recap basic forms and be introduced to new colour application techniques such as using powder, incalmo and graal. This course will also include coldworking techniques. 

Students must have taken at least 2 Intro to Glassblowing Classes or equivalent (Weekend Workshops, 3 Private Lessons, or a multi week class.) AND Next Steps. 

This is not an introductory class and students will be required to have previous experience, TCGC will ensure everyone signed up for the class has the required experience. All materials are included. Age 16+. 

About the Instructors

Hope Forstenzer has been blowing glass since 2000 and makes a wide variety of vessels and sculptural pieces using photo images on glass. She has studied glass in New York, Seattle and Baltimore. 

Felicia VanDenBoodgaard is a graduate from ACAD and is a full time professional glass artist.
