About the Instructors

Guy Hollington began blowing glass in 2014 at TCGC. He has studied at the Corning Museum of glass in New York as well as the Pilchuck Glass School in Washington State.

For Guy, glass is a medium that incorporates both preplanning and spontaneity. Hee finds it important to understand how colours will blend with the fluidity of the glass towards its final form. At the same time, he allows the medium to push back and suggest new directions and possibilities.
