Instructor: Scott McDougall
This course will give you basic introductory skills in the hot shop, including how to gather, make a paperweight, blow bubbles and create your first blown glass vessel. You will learn about tools, studio safety and how to work in a team to have fun and blow glass! All materials are included. No experience necessary.

Scott McDougall has been working with glass for nearly a decade. He studied glass at the Alberta College of Art + Design, graduating in 2012. After moving to Vancouver in 2014 he has continued to work professionally as a glassblower, at Bocci Contemporary Design and the Sterling Glass Studio. Scott also works at Terminal City as an instructor and studio technician. Scott is also an active studio renter and creates his glass sculpture and functional ware at Terminal City.
