This course will introduce you to the basics of fusing and slumping glass, then give you lots of time to explore your creativity! You will start with cold glass: cutting, shaping and layering opaque or transparent colours. Then everything goes into the kiln for a controlled melt into the shape you want. Learn how to use reactive colours and powders for exciting combinations. Explore textures, dichroic glass, and metal foil and leaf reactions. Beginning with items like small bowls and plates, you will move on to make larger pieces and even jewellery items. No previous glass experience necessary. All materials and tools are provided.
