Flameworked Icicle Ornaments Workshop

In this 3-hour session, you will create beautiful, glistening glass icicles from rods of borosilicate glass. Using a small torch, you will bend and twist the glass and form them into delightful ornaments. Decorate your tree, give them as a gift, or hang them in the window to catch the light. Participants will make several pieces in each session. No experience is required. All materials are provided. 

Icicles will range in size from 3"-6".

About the Instructor
Lucas Clarke works as the in-house scientific glassblower for Simon Fraser University. He apprenticed for over 10 years learning the intricacies of flameworking. His work has traveled to the deepest depths of the Marianas Trench and up into space. Glassblowing is the first thing he can ever remember wanting to do as a job.
