Flameworking is a great way to experience the thrill of shaping molten glass using a small torch. In this introductory course, you will learn the basics of melting borosilicate glass rods to create a variety of objects such as small sculptures, pendants and simple ornaments. You will use mostly clear glass and some colour. You will also learn about the nature of glass, tools and terminology and glass safety. All materials are included in the cost.
Students who complete this course can access the studio for our newbie night program. Click here for more information about newbie nights.
