'Tis the season for beautiful ornaments! This workshop for experienced flameworkers explores solid and blown borosilicate glass ornaments. You will start with clear glass, then branch into colours and sophisticated decorative techniques. All materials and tools are provided.

This class requires some previous experience in borosilicate glass such as our Flameworking Weekend Workshop or six-week course. Please contact us if you are unsure of your skill level.

About the Instructor

Janis Miltenberger is a glass artist on Lopez Island, Washington. She began her career in glass in 1978 as a glassblowing apprentice to Richard Marquis. She was introduced to lampworking at Pilchuck Glass School, and the torch has allowed her to focus and define
her voice in the material. Janis exhibits and teaches internationally and her work is included in public and private collections in the US and abroad.
