February 10 & 11, 2018
Saturday and Sunday, February 10 & 11, 2018
10 am - 5 pm
Instructor: Jaan Andres
This is a glassblowing boot camp for students who want to learn skills that lead to finer forms with the blowpipe. The primary goal of the course is to produce pure geometric forms, like spheres, cones and cylinders, by focusing on the subtleties of the bubble. Students will produce these forms in clear glass, and the course will also cover colour preparation. Students will also learn the specific skills with the punty that contribute to the refinement and uniformity of shape. All materials are provided.
This class is intermediate-to-advanced level; glass blowing experience is required. Please contact us if you are unsure of your level of experience.
