Membership in the Terminal City Glass Co-op is open to anyone (age 18+) who wishes to apply.
You don’t have to be a glass artist to be a member, as our membership structure allows for craftspeople at any level of skill as well as and supporters of glass arts. Students enrolled in a class do not need to be members of the co-op.
Our application process is a three-step process:
- Applicants must submit a Membership Application and pay a $20.00 processing fee.
- Applications are reviewed by the Membership Subcommittee and eligible applicants may be required to complete a trial period of up to 90 days before approval of membership, during which applicants will be assessed on competency and suitability for the Co-operative environment.
- Upon completion of the Trial period, the Membership subcommittee will complete a final review for membership.
Membership in our co-op requires a $200.00 purchase of membership shares. (4 shares at $50.00 each) The shares are refundable when a member chooses to leave the co-op. Payment of shares is due upon acceptance into the co-op.
Because our organization is a co-operative, the members are owners of the company. Each member is entitled to one vote at our general meetings, including electing a Board of Directors.
